Mrs. Angela Asher McQueen, age 59 of Burning Springs departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. She was born on Tuesday, February 2, 1960 in Beverly, Kentucky to Troy and Bernice Jones Asher. She was a retired school teacher for Special Education for the Jackson County Board of Education and a member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Danielle Asher Smallwood and her husband: Bobby and Heather McQueen Blanton as well as her grandchildren: Morgan Hall, Shelbi Messer, Taylor Wood, Reagan Messer and Bailey Wood.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Troy and Bernice Asher, her husband: Darrell R. McQueen and her brothers: Tony Asher and Gregory Asher.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Angela Asher McQueen will be conducted on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 3:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Grigsby and Bro. William Hugh Hudson will be presiding. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Darrell in the McQueen Cemetery in the Burning Springs Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
