Alvin Webb - Courtesy Obituary

Alvin Webb, 73, of McKee entered into eternal life Sunday, September 29, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. Alvin was born Friday, May 17, 1940 in Clay County to the union of Estill B. Webb and Emma Jones. He married Jenny Sue Lakes on October 7, 1959 in Annville, KY. and together had 7 children. He was owner and operator of Webb Garage and a member of the Pond Creek Fire Department. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Letterbox Baptist Church. He was Constable of District II for over 39 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Estill B. and Emma Webb. He is survived by his wife Jenny Sue Webb and 7 children, Billy Gene Webb of McKee, Darlene and her husband, Dennis Clark of McKee, Linda and her husband, Don Rush of London, Ronnie and his wife, Telina Webb of Annville, Sandra Stevens of Mt. Sterling, Vicki and her husband, Jerry Napier of Manchester, and Tony and his wife, Tammy Webb of McKee. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 6 sisters, Vasco and his wife, Marlene Webb of London, Arvin and his wife, Yolanda Webb of Annville, Geneva and her husband, Alonzo Hicks of London, Zella Mae Hicks of Hamilton, Ohio, Edith Schweitzer of Hamilton, Ohio, Vanda and her husband Randy Schott of London, Lana Weaver of Granbury, Texas, and Lena Webb of Germantown, Maryland. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 6 pm at Dobson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Dobson Funeral Home with Bro. Garland Gabbard and Bro. Shane Gabbard officiating. Burial immediately following at Davidson Cemetery in Peoples, KY.
