Ada Iona White

Ada Iona White, age 79 departed this life on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her home. She was born on Tuesday, May 1, 1945 in Oneida, Kentucky to Jesse and Laura (Cornett) Westerfield. She worked at Mid-South Electronics as Accounting Manager then later she worked with Phillips Diversified for 12 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Burning Springs Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years. She loved fishing and was an avid UK Basketball fan. She treasured and adored her two granddaughters who were the light of her life, Taylor and Tori.

 She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Doug White and wife Donna and two granddaughters: Taylor and Tori White. Also surviving is one brother: Jim Westerfield.

 She is preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Laura Westerfield and these brothers: Edward Westerfield, R G Westerfield, Oliver Westerfield, Jesse “Crick” Westerfield, and John Westerfield.

 Funeral Services for Ada Iona White will be conducted on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Landis “Scrappy” Cornett and Rev. Travis Fields will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
